A Letter from Leadership

Dear Denver Democrats,

As we enter the final stretch toward Election Day on Nov. 5, I want to take a moment to reflect on all we’ve achieved together. Over these past months, our volunteers have shown extraordinary dedication—from Thursday Night of Action for phone-banking and writing postcards, to canvassing not only in Denver but also in critical areas like CD8 for Yadira Caraveo, Garfield County and Douglas County.

We’ve established robust texting campaigns, created a comprehensive election information webpage, and distributed a sample ballot that’s been both mailed and handed out at key locations. And let’s not forget our extensive social media efforts that are reaching voters across the city and beyond. Every effort, every hour spent, is bringing us closer to our goal.

I know we’re all tired. This has been hard work—but it’s work that truly matters. We’re fighting for something core to the very definition of being American: democracy. The stakes couldn’t be higher, but together, we’ve built a movement capable of rising to the challenge.

In these final days, let’s keep the momentum going. We are protecting the rights and freedoms that define us—from reproductive rights to climate action, public education and the sacred right to vote. Your dedication, resilience and belief in a brighter future are what power this movement.

Thank you for all you’ve done, and let’s finish strong!

In Democratic Unity,

James Reyes

Chair, Democratic Party of Denver
