A Letter from Leadership

Dear Denver Democrats,

In recent months, we've been working tirelessly to expand our communication efforts in response to the critical challenges facing our democracy. We recognize the urgent need to provide our community with clear, accessible information on the issues that matter most.

To that end, we've expanded our outreach on multiple fronts. We will continue to offer essential print materials, such as sample ballots, to ensure all voters have access to crucial voting information. Additionally, we've significantly boosted our digital presence to meet people where they are in today's connected world. Our revamped website now features informative blogs and other valuable resources designed to help you feel prepared for the upcoming election. You've likely noticed an uptick in our social media activity as well—this is all part of our commitment to keeping you informed through diverse channels.

These efforts come at a crucial time. While it may sound like a familiar refrain, the upcoming election truly is one of the most consequential in recent memory. We've seen concerning developments that threaten long-held rights and freedoms, underscoring the importance of an engaged and informed electorate.

Despite these challenges, I remain hopeful. There's a clear path forward to address the issues that genuinely matter to our country. It's easy to feel discouraged by the negativity and divisiveness in our current political climate, but we must resist the urge to make decisions out of fear. Instead, let's choose hope and informed action.

As a woman and mother of two daughters, I'm particularly energized by the prospect of electing our first female president—and a woman of color at that. It's high time our government better reflects the diverse communities it serves, and together, we can make that vision a reality.

Your involvement is crucial. Whether it's amplifying our message by sharing our content, making a donation or volunteering your time, every action counts. By staying informed and engaged, we can work together to build a brighter, more inclusive future.

In solidarity and hope,

Francie Dudrey
