Do you know your House district? Drop it in the comments! Find others in your district and connect.

We can also help you get plugged into your monthly district meetings, where you can meet your community and work toward real change.

Most importantly, knowing your House district means knowing your caucus site. Caucus happens every March in even years—it’s where we decide who gets on the ballot! We have a year to go. But the reason why it benefits to be registered with a party is because of caucus. This is the only way to have a voice in who gets on the ballot.

The Russo-Ukrainian War began with an unprovoked invasion by Russia, violating Ukraine’s sovereignty and international law. Ukraine is defending its democracy, territorial integrity, and the right of its people to self-determination.

Come together to Stand for Ukraine this Sunday February 23rd at 12pm at the Colorado Capital

Money talks—and when we come together, our collective economic power is one of the strongest tools for demanding change. Every dollar we spend (or withhold) sends a message about what we value and the kind of world we want to build.

Throughout history, economic boycotts have led to real change. The Montgomery Bus Boycott crippled the racist system of segregation. The United Farm Workers’ grape boycott won better wages and conditions for farmworkers. More recently, corporate boycotts have forced companies to shift policies, support workers, and take stands on social justice issues.

When we act together—choosing where to spend, when to withhold, and what to support—we remind businesses, industries and policymakers that they depend on us. Whether it’s pushing for fair wages, ethical business practices or political change, our collective financial choices matter.

Never underestimate the power of unity. When we stand together, we can move economies—and mountains.

This Presidents’ Day, there’s little to celebrate as we endure the chaos and turmoil of this presidency. But rather than sinking into despair, let it be a wake-up call. Let it radicalize you. Organize, mobilize, and fight to swing the pendulum left. The future is ours to reclaim. #PresidentsDay

We strongly condemn the recent ICE raids targeting our immigrant communities. These actions sow fear, separate families, and undermine the values of dignity and justice that we stand for in Denver.

Denver is a place of inclusion, and we will not stand by while our neighbors live in fear. Stay informed, stay vigilant, and stand in solidarity.

America’s views on immigration have shifted dramatically over the decades. Leaders from both parties once spoke about immigrants as contributors to our communities and economy. Today, the conversation looks very different. DENVER – The Denver Democratic Party strongly condemns the use of Buckley Space Force Base as a processing center for detained immigrants. This reckless decision by MAGA Republicans is yet another example of their agenda of fear and division—using our military infrastructure to inflict indiscriminate harm on vulnerable communities instead of upholding our nation’s values of dignity and due process.

Weaponizing our military against immigrants is not the answer. It’s a dangerous precedent that does nothing to fix our immigration system and instead fuels cruelty and chaos. We urge all Coloradans to stand against these inhumane policies and demand action from our leaders in Congress.

Due to extreme cold weather conditions, the start time for the 2025 MLK Jr. Marade has been delayed, and Civic Center Park programming has been canceled.

Updated Schedule:
• 10:30 a.m.: Opening gathering with Mayor Mike Johnston, community leaders, and dignitaries at City Park.
• 11:00 a.m. - 11:10 a.m.: Marade steps off from City Park.

Weather Advisory:
Temperatures are forecasted to be around -10°F (subject to change). Please dress in multiple layers and wear winter gear such as gloves, hats, and scarves to stay warm.

Warming Centers Along the Marade Route:

Carla Madison Recreation Center (2401 E Colfax Ave): Open 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Church in the City (1580 N Gaylord St): Open during the event.

Pete’s Kitchen (1962 E Colfax Ave): Open during the event.
